Description

Located in the El Casar urbanisation next to the village of Benahavis, this home can accommodate 6 people. 

The house is built on 3 levels. The large sun terrace and front entrance are on the middle level, the nearest swimming pool is a minutes walk from the terrace. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs, sun umbrella, sun loungers and a gas BBQ. Also on this level is the fully equipped kitchen and the large lounge dining area with double doors onto the terrace. In this part of the house we have 2 large comfortable sofas, a dining table for 6 people, fireplace and large TV with Netflix, plus UK and international channels. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with amazing views across the valley through the double doors in each room. Both these rooms have ensuite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes. The downstairs area contains the third bedroom with another bathroom. From this level you can access the garage and parking areas. 

There are 4 swimming pools in the urbanisation, one of which is situated about 30mtrs from the house. Three of the pools are outdoor and one is an indoor heated pool, and there is also a gym and sauna. The home has stunning views over the valley as is is located high in the hills and is only a 10 minute walk away from the village centre, where there are many bars and restaurants.

The local area is great for biking and walking, the village is surrounded by stunning countryside and from the high points there are views of Marbella, Gibraltar and Morrocco (on a clear day!). The village has excellent sports facilities including large swimming pool, golf range, padel tennis courts, football pitches and a gymnasium. There are spas located in the Grand Hotel and in Benahavis Hills.

Benahavis is great for families, and people of all ages who enjoy great restaurants and bars, all located in beautiful mountain surroundings. With the coast only a 10 minute drive away, Benahavis gives you the best of both worlds.

I had a fantastic stay here in February with my 2 teenage children. Benhavis is a very pretty authentic Spanish town and makes a lovely peaceful haven to escape to, away from the busy coastal tourist areas and beaches which are only a short drive away. The house was beautiful and is located up a hill in a quiet and smart residential area of Benhavis with superb mountain views from the large front terrace and upstairs bedrooms. The bedrooms are both en-suite with lovely mountain views. The large area in the basement with double bedroom and bathroom was ideal for my teenage son. The house was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The modern kitchen overlooked the front terrace and was extremely well equipped. The house was in an ideal location as it was only a 10 minute walk into town so it was great not having to use the car, especially after sampling the local nightlife! There are many great bars and restaurants to choose from which were buzzing despite it being early in the year. There was a small store in the village for essential groceries and the nearest large supermarket was only a few minutes drive away. Once once we had stocked up we didn’t need to use the car unless venturing out of Benhavis. The underground garage was very useful with easy access from the basement - handy for luggage and shopping. We enjoyed making use of the well equipped gym and large indoor pool in the leisure facilities - being February, the weather wasn’t warm enough to use the outdoor pools. Our host Neil was extremely friendly and welcoming and was always on hand to answer any queries and provide us with lots of useful local information. It was a lovely comfortable ‘home away from home’ and highly recommended - we will definitely stay in this lovely house again when we return to Benhavis!

Returning to the UK in 1998, he worked in the south east of England for
several years, providing technology systems to broadcasters and post
production companies. In 2003 he then started building a UK property
development company, buying distressed property and refurbishing it.
Coming back to Spain full time in 2006, he worked in Gibraltar for
several years and then formed Williams Properties.
